PSP, as a rule, provides only technical execution of the transaction, that is, it is primarily a processing center that processes card payments. And the Payment Service Provider is not subject to the risks that apply to the Payment Facilitator. All responsibility for violation of the rules of card schemes on the part of the merchant is automatically transferred to PF, that is, the card schemes will not penalize the merchant directly, it does not have a direct contract with the merchant, but the acquirer and the Payment Facilitator will bear full responsibility.
