01/04/21 Simple tips to help you save money buying with bank card
Follow these rules for secure online shopping payments:
- All payments that are irrevocable should be sent only with a full guarantee that the service for them is provided to you in full. Otherwise, it will be extremely difficult to challenge the transfer.
- Remember that all offers at a cheap price usually hide deception, do not chase the price, which is clearly below the market several times.
- Never send a commission after which you are promised a large transfer to your card - this is a 100% fraudulent trick.
- Use only private Wi-Fi networks, if you use public Wi-Fi, there is a high probability that your card data can be intercepted by fraudsters.
- Use only those sites that have a secure https:// protocol. Fortunately, modern browsers will tell you that you do not need to go to an unsecured site. However, check it yourself every time before buying or transferring.
- We strongly recommend that you do not link your card with little-known companies that do not have confidence in the secure storage of your card data, according to the PCI DSS. Conversely, if it's a large bank or a payment service that you often shop on, it's better to link your card. The probability that the server of a large bank will be hacked is much lower than the interception of your card data during the next payment attempt.
- Use only official antivirus programs.
